Sheasham FC 2-0 Beitbridge FC
Red hot construction boys massacred visiting Beitbridge FC at Bata Stadium, Sunday.
Goals from Physiwell Madhazi and Robert Nyakwangwa buried the border town side that had spent most of the afternoon defending continuous attacks from a determined Sheasham.
Sheasham FC Head Coach Lizwe Sweswe was a happy man.
His side’s patience and determination paid off.
“It’s about patience its about not changing your systems, and not changing your play because of pressure,” he said before adding, “I told the boys that It’s not over until the final whistle.
“When we play teams whom we have collapsed in keeping possession they collapse at the last minute, which is what happened today. Credit to the boys, they worked so hard, and everyone and was pushing for a win, what is important is that we are taking one game at a time,” he said.
Sweswe added, that his team is still in the championship race.
“Let those who have written us off do so at their own risk because we believe the boys will eventually deliver the ultimate prize at the end of the season,” he said, “we are taking each game as it comes and our focus is on collecting maximum points.”
The construction boys will be traveling to Gokwe FC for their next assignment.
